BROCKHAMPTON Drop 90s Infused Single '1999 Wildfire'

All-American boy-band Brockhampton have just released their newest single ‘1999 Wildfire’ and it’s giving us major old school feels.

The band debuted the track on their own Beats Radio show ‘Things We Lost In The Fire’, where the group have also confirmed that we can be expecting new music for the entirety of the summer.

After their ‘Saturation’ trilogy in 2017, Brockhampton promised that their new material wasn’t going to follow the prominent genres used for their trilogy releases, having fans eagerly awaiting to see what direction their music would be heading in.

‘1999 Wildfire’ brought us back to the music from late 90s Outkast. The hip-hop track is infused with old school vibes that moulded together have created the perfect summer evening soundtrack.

The single comes only two weeks after they made their late night TV debut on ‘Jimmy Fallon’ with ‘Tonya’, also taken from their highly anticipated new album ‘The Best Years Of Our Lives’, due for release in the summer months.

You can watch the music video for ‘1999 Wildfire’ below, which was directed by founding member Kevin Abstract.
