Edward von Moger: Body found on Anglesea beach in search for missing man

A body has been found on a popular beach on Victoria’s surf coast, nearby where missing man Edward von Moger’s car was found on Friday.

Officers were called to a beach in Anglesea after the discovery of what is believed to be human remains on Monday.

A spokeswoman for Victoria Police was unable to confirm if the remains had been linked to the search for Mr von Moger.

“The remains will be transported to the coroner’s office for examination,” she said.

The 28-year-old was last seen on Thursday and his car was found on Ellimatta Road in Anglesea on Friday afternoon.

Mr von Moger is the brother of Australian bodybuilder Calum Von Moger, a three-time Mr Universe winner who portrayed Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film ‘Bigger’.

Calum issued a plea for help finding Edward to his Instagram fans on Friday.

“My little brother Eddie is missing,” Calum wrote.

“He was last seen three days ago on Thursday, March 2 around 8am.

“Please if anyone has seen or heard ANYTHING from him or has any information on his whereabouts please let me know and contact Geelong Police Station.”
