Sophia Anne Caruso is an American actress and singer. Known mostly for her stage roles, including Beetlejuice, she has also appeared in the films Jack of the Red Hearts and The School for Good and Evil.

She is the daughter of Deena Caruso, who owned clothing and jewelry stores, and Steve Caruso, a “club pro” golf professional. Her family moved to New York in 2012 for her acting career.

Sophia’s maternal grandfather was Roy Moe (the son of Robert M. Moe and Edna Mae Cattrill). Robert was the son of Edward Haakon Moe, whose parents were Norwegian, and of Mary I. Williams, who was of one half German, one quarter Irish, and one quarter English, descent. Edna was the daughter of Elijah Cattrill and Laura Edwards.

Sophia’s maternal grandmother was named Millie.
