The Weirdest Johnny Weir Outfits Weve Ever Seen

Johnny Weir

Johnny Weir is an amazing figure skater, but he has a lot more style on the ice than he does off the ice. Of course, we do feel that style is very personal, so who are we to say that his style is not as on when he’s in his real clothes than it is when he’s in his costumes? Known for his exceptionally amazing clothes and sense of style, there is rarely a time in which Weir is not dressed to the nines and completely individual. And while his own personal style might not be the same as others, there is never any doubt in the minds of anyone that he will never have to play a game of ‘Who Wore it Better,” with anyone else when he’s out and about. With that in mind, and with the Kentucky Derby officially over, we thought we’d find out a few of the things that Weir has worn that are some of our favorites – and by favorites we clearly mean some of our absolute weirdest favorites.

Kentucky Derby Duo

No one wore it better than Weir when he rocked a faux-hawk made of flowers and a cocktail over the weekend at the Kentucky Derby. His hat was, by far, our favorite hate ever to make an appearance at any event.

Super Bowl Apparel

With tights, tennis shoes and a padded jacket that almost made him look like he was about to get on a motorcycle, there was nothing quite like Johnny Weir’s Super Bowl outfit this year, either.

The Olympics

When Weir took over the winter Olympics, his style said more than he did. One outfit that was particularly fabulous was his white silk shirt, white blazer and his gorgeous pearls. We love the knotted pearl look around his neck.

The Oxford

Another of his Olympic worthy looks was the time he showed up to commentate wearing a gorgeous oxford with a beautiful swirl design, a fitted black blazer and a beautiful ring that made every woman in the world jealous.

The Fur Coat

There was that one time he showed up in what looked like a captain’s hat with a massive faux fur coat that made him look a bit like Elizabeth Taylor, and we were loving that look.
